Honor returned to India last year under the moniker of HTech. To celebrate its return, the company introduced the Honor 90. The Indian branch was introduced under the leadership of Madhav Sheth, who is a familiar name due to his work at Realme. With the launch of the Honor 90, the company expressed its plans to bring innovative features to the upcoming smartphones. Now, the company confirmed the launch of the Honor X9b in India.

The announcement was made by Madhav Sheth on his X profile. He teased the launch of the new mid-range smartphone in the country. In the post, he even showcases the Honor X9b with its circular camera module. The smartphone is not exactly a secret as it was released a few weeks ago in China. However, is a new thing when it comes to the Indian market.

Honor X9b Key Features and Details
The Honor X9b comes to compete with the likes of Realme and Redmi in the mid-range market. The Honor X9b flaunts a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 2,652 x 1,220 pixels resolution and 1200 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and has up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage.
In terms of optics, the device has a 108 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture with PDAF. The phone also has a 5 MP f/2.2 ultrawide snapper and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera. It also has a 16 MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Honor X9b also has Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and IR Blaster. The device has an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 5,800 mAh battery with 35W wired fast charging. Honor advertised the Honor X9b as an ultra-durable smartphone in China with a strong screen.
The Honor X9b costs CNY 1,999 in China. The handset will cost about INR 30,000 in India. However, the company has yet to disclose the launch details of the phone. We expect more details to appear soon as the company will likely begin a teaser campaign. The device will be a solid competitor for the likes of the Redmi and Realme series.
